Securing Your Booking
A deposit is required for catering, events, group bookings and function room bookings to officially secure your date and record your booking in our calendar.
Standard Bookings
30% deposit
Most catering and event bookings require a 30% deposit based on the final quotation.
Larger or Custom Events
Up to 50% deposit
Larger events, private functions or customised catering may require a 50% deposit depending on the size and preparation involved.

Your booking is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received and the booking has been confirmed by Asian StrEAT.

Deposit is eligible for a full refund.
3–6 Days Before Event
Deposit may be partially refundable or applied as credit toward a future booking.
Within 48 Hours
Deposit becomes non-refundable because food, staffing and preparation may already have been arranged.
Rescheduling
One reschedule may be permitted, subject to availability.
Customers may modify or cancel free of charge within 24 hours of receiving booking confirmation. If cancelled within this 24-hour window, the deposit is 100% refundable.

Do you offer catering?
Yes. Asian StrEAT offers catering for family gatherings, celebrations, corporate events, group bookings and other occasions. We can discuss shared meals, set menus, catering trays, sushi platters and customised catering options.
Do you host private events?
Yes. We accept enquiries for private functions, corporate events, group bookings and function room bookings, subject to availability.
How far in advance should I enquire?
We recommend enquiring as early as possible, particularly for larger events, private functions and customised catering, so the team has enough time to review availability, menu requirements and preparation needs.
How much does catering cost?
Catering is quoted based on factors such as guest numbers, menu selection, event requirements, location, service needs and other custom requirements. Submit an enquiry and the Asian StrEAT team can prepare a customised quotation.
Do you have catering packages?
Yes. Planned options include Small (approximately 10–15 guests), Medium (approximately 20–30 guests), Large (approximately 40–50 guests) and Custom (based on guest numbers, budget and requirements).

Yes. Customers can request a package based on their guest numbers, budget, preferred food and event requirements.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Catering, events, group bookings and function room bookings require a deposit to secure the booking. The standard deposit is 30% of the quotation. Larger events, private functions or customised catering may require up to 50%, depending on the size and preparation involved.
How can I pay the deposit?
Currently, deposits can be paid by bank transfer or in-store payment.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance can be paid on or before the event date.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, subject to the applicable cancellation policy. Bookings cancelled 7 or more days before the event are eligible for a full deposit refund. For cancellations 3–6 days before the event, the deposit may be partially refundable or applied as credit. Within 48 hours of the event, the deposit becomes non-refundable because preparation, food and staffing may already have been arranged.

Do you offer delivery?
Delivery or pickup arrangements can be discussed as part of the catering enquiry. Availability and requirements should be confirmed with the Asian StrEAT team.
Can I hold my event at Asian StrEAT?
Yes. Customers can enquire about private functions, group bookings and function room bookings at Asian StrEAT, subject to availability and applicable requirements.
Can I see the catering menu before requesting a quote?
Yes. This page showcases available catering favourites and menu photography. Customers can then submit an enquiry for current menu options, pricing and a customised quotation.
Is there an additional charge for bringing outside food or beverages to my function?
Yes. For functions held at Asian StrEAT, a surcharge may apply to outside food and beverages, including items such as cakes, wine, or other drinks brought into the venue. Any applicable outside-food or beverage surcharge will be confirmed with you during the booking process, based on your event requirements.
