For large groups, private events and special bookings, separate cancellation or deposit conditions may apply.

If you do not attend your reservation without notifying us, we may record the reservation as a no-show and may apply any applicable conditions communicated to you at the time of booking.

Where a deposit, minimum spend or other special condition applies, the applicable terms will be communicated during the booking process or in the booking confirmation.

Online Orders

When you place an order through a third-party ordering platform:

Delivery

Asian StrEAT is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Catering and Private Events

Asian StrEAT may provide catering, corporate events, private functions, group bookings and other event services.

Catering and event bookings generally follow a process involving:

Enquiry → Quotation → Review → Deposit → Confirmation → Preparation → Delivery/Event → Final Payment → Completion.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that a booking will be accepted.

A catering or event booking is only confirmed once Asian StrEAT has confirmed the booking and any required deposit has been received.

Catering and event requirements may include:

• Event date and time;
• Event location;
• Number of guests;
• Event type;
• Menu selection;
• Dietary requirements;
• Delivery or pickup arrangements;
• Staffing requirements;
• Decorations or additional services;
• Minimum spend requirements;
• Deposit requirements; and
• Final payment arrangements.

Final pricing and inclusions will be based on the quotation accepted by the customer.

Catering Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure catering, event, group or function bookings.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable quotation or booking confirmation:

• Standard bookings may require a 30% deposit;
• Larger, private or customised events may require a 50% deposit; and
• The remaining balance may be payable on or before the event date.

The applicable deposit amount and payment requirements will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

A deposit is used to secure the booking and allow Asian StrEAT to plan food, staffing, preparation and other requirements.

Catering and Event Cancellations

For catering, events, group bookings and function bookings, the cancellation terms applicable to the booking will be communicated in the relevant quotation or booking confirmation.

Unless different terms are expressly agreed in writing, the following general cancellation framework may apply:

7 or More Days Before the Event

A cancellation may qualify for a full refund of the deposit.

3–6 Days Before the Event

The deposit may be partially refundable or may be offered as credit toward a future booking, at Asian StrEAT’s discretion and subject to the circumstances.

Within 48 Hours of the Event

The deposit may be non-refundable because food, staffing and other event preparations may already have been committed.

Rescheduling

One reschedule may be permitted, subject to availability and agreement by Asian StrEAT.

Where a specific cancellation policy is stated in an accepted quotation or booking confirmation, that specific policy will apply to the booking.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under applicable Australian law.

Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards

Asian StrEAT may offer digital gift vouchers and physical gift cards.

Gift vouchers may be:

• Delivered electronically;
• Provided with a voucher or redemption code;
• Purchased for a specified value; and/or
• Redeemed subject to the conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

Physical gift cards may be available for collection from an Asian StrEAT location.

Gift vouchers and gift cards should be treated as valuable instruments. Customers are responsible for keeping voucher codes and gift card details secure.

Asian StrEAT may not be responsible for loss or unauthorised use resulting from a customer sharing or losing a voucher code or gift card, except where required by law.

Specific gift voucher conditions, including expiry, redemption, transferability and eligible locations, will be communicated at the time of purchase or on the relevant voucher.

Any expiry or other restriction will be applied only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Payments

Asian StrEAT may accept various payment methods, including card payments, cash, electronic payments and gift vouchers.

Where payment is processed through a third-party payment provider, additional terms may apply to the payment transaction.

Asian StrEAT does not generally receive or store complete payment card details where those details are processed directly by a third-party payment provider.
